IZZY!
I can't believe she is old enough...but today she went to 5th grade camp! (dad went as one of the chaperones) She was so excited when I dropped them off to the buses this morning. In fact she's been packed for several days aleady! I can't believe how fast time is going. Yesterday we went to her maturation program at school and learned all about her period, of which she is ecstatic about getting. Who wants that? She does. Oh my little Izzy isn't so little anymore:)

Happy Valentine's Day!!
Happy Valentine's Day!
Thought I'd post some pics of this year's Valentine's boxes the kids made (or mostly mom and dad did). We found some cute patterns online via our neighbors. Iz made hers at school with her class so I'll have to post a picture of hers after school.
Isaac and Beck made monsters...they are blue.
Addie's is a robot, obviously.

Again, what did you say?
Okay so I'm loving this stage that Beck is in. He's right on the brink of 4, everything is literal, and he only uses "hers" and "hims" and such words. He keeps us laughing. Last night at dinner, we were eating grilled cheese with soup and he sullenly asks when will he get to have a boy cheese sammich instead of a "girl cheese sammich". None of my kids (that I know of) ever confused the gender of their sammich before:)

What did he just say?
My kids are pretty creative when it comes to trying to get what they want. This was Beck today. Today is Sunday and we'd just come home from church. Isaac was already changing his clothes with his door shut, and ignoring Beck's pleas to open the door. (Which is a constant occurance) Finally Beck changes the tone of his voice to a lower, more grown up soon-to-be 4 year old, and says, "Open the door. It's Jesus Christ."
